Collecting details:
All three shells appear to have been figured. A label tucked inside the aperture of the largest shell reads "Shell figured 193 + 193*". The smallest specimen was designated the lectotype of O. cylindrica Marrat, 1867 by Raven & Recourt (2018). These authors consider the species to be a synonym of O. hanleyorum Petuch & Sargent, 1986, since the name O. cylindrica Marrat, 1867 is a primary homonym.
