Notes
Melvill & Standen, 1898 refer to more than one specimen in their original description so this specimen must be considered a syntype. It has however been listed as a holotype by both Trew, 1987 and McGhie, 2008. The specimen measures the same as the measurements given in the original description and has 'type' written on it by Melvill. The label confirms it is the figured specimen and it has an excellent likeness to the illustrations.
