Notes
The locality and collector information has been inferred from the paper as there is no information present with the specimen. There is no indication that the original description was based on a single specimen. Both Trew, 1987 and McGhie, 2008 listed this specimen as a holotype; in accordance with ICZN Art. 74.6 this is an indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype (Trew, 1987: 61). The assumption that this is the figured specimen is based on the label data but it should be noted that the obvious hole in this specimen is not present in Melvill & Standen's figure.
