Notes
The locality and collector information has been inferred from the paper as there is no information present with the specimen. Melvill & Standen, 1897 clearly state they used four specimens for their original description, so all four of these shells are syntypes. There are two specimens in the Manchester lot and indication on the label that one of them is the figured specimen (EE.3721). Although there is no indication as to which shell this is the figure shows a decollate shell, and only one of the Manchester shells is decollate, so it can be assumed to be the figured syntype.
