Coan & Kabat, 2012 state there are 5 syntypes at the NHM (NHM20120166), and 7 possible syntypes in Leeds, referring to this lot. Leeds lot has a Hanley label, does not state type, but is from the type locality. There is no mention of this name in Hanley's handwritten catalogue. Original description states the specimens were collected by Dr Frick and were in the Cuming collection. There is no evidence to point to Cuming on the Hanley label or in his catalogue.
