Notes
Johnson, 1971 states that the figured holotype and a paratype are at the NHM (BMNH 88.12.4.1672), refigured by Hanley & Theobald, 1876, Conch. Indica, p. 62, pl. 155, fig. 2; paratype BMNH 88.12.4.1673. MUSSELp database state it is a figured syntype, correctly, as there is no mention of a single specimen in the original description. Leeds lot has a Hanley label, no type written and one modern label stating 'paratype?'. The Hanley catalogue states: fig. in Conch. Indica. Locality on specimen is 'Birmah' which links to the type locality, but is misspelled and not as specific. Theobald particulary mentions Bhamo in the paper. The specimen does not match the figure in Conch. Indica.
