Coan & Kabat, 2012 state: Leeds Museum 1957.173.24640, two possible syntypes. Leeds material does not have a Hanley label. There is mention to the species in Hanley's handwritten catalogue, no type is written but it does list the locality 'Philippines' (no locality known according to Coan & Kabat, 2012). S. Whybrow label states: ? Syntypes. neither of these 2 appears to be the fig. (dated 9/1979).
