Coan & Kabat, 2012 cite the Leeds specimen as a syntype, also possible syntypes at the NHM (NHMUK 1912.6.18.13 and NHMUK 1912.3.15.2-3 (2 possible syntypes). Leeds material has a Hanley label, no type mentioned and there is no reference to a type specimen in Hanley's handwritten catalogue. There is also a modern label (unidentified) stating type. There is no locality mentioned on the label but the type locality was mentioned in a subsequent citation.
