Notes
Sowerby, 1868 states that the type material came from Hanley's collection. The MUSSELp webpage states that the holotype is at the NHM (BMNH_88-12-4-1669), however as there is no specific mention of one specimen in the paper, the NHM material must be classed as a syntype. Leeds material is ex. Hanley collection, and is from the type locality. There is a modern label stating 'paratype of parma Bens. Sow.' There is no mention of type in Hanley's handwritten catalogue.
