Notes
Harasewych et al., 2007 note that Maynard identified a single type specimen in his original description, this matches a lot in MCZ (76216) which was labelled holotype. This specimen is imaged on the Smithsonian webpage. Maynard states that he examined 1000 specimens, so the remaining 999 specimens are considered to be paratypes, including MCZ 76203, USNM 419990, and now also the Leeds specimens. Leeds material have a Crowley and a Tomlin label, both stating paratypes and the specimens are from the type locality. The material is ex Salisbury collection, which contained some of Maynard's collection.
