Notes
Harasewych et al. 2007 state that Maynard did not base his description on one specimen, and therefore that all material examined is classed as part of the type series (1147 specimens in total). They go on to designate a lectotype lot from MCZ (MCZ 76135) and state that all of the other specimens can be considered paralectotypes including MCZ 76136, MCZ 118346 and USNM 420106, and now also the Leeds specimen. Leeds material is ex. Saliburydoes, it does not have a Maynard label but the Leeds database states that this specimen is ex. Maynard. There is an old label and more modern label (handwriting unidentified) stating paratypes and it is from the exact type locality.
