Notes
Harasewych et al. 2007 state that Maynard did not base his description on one specimen, and therefore that all material examined can be classed as part of a syntype series (400 specimens in total). They go on to designate a lectotype lot, MCZ 76220 and state that all of the other specimens can be considered paralectotypes including MCZ 76219, USNM 420007, and now also the Leeds specimens. Leeds material is ex. Crowley collection, and the Leeds database states that they are also ex Maynard. Label states that they are ex. Salisbury collection which holds some of Maynard's collection. There is an original label from Tomlin stating that the specimens are paratypes, Crowley's label also states that these are paratypes. They are from the type locality.
