Type Locality: Marau Sound, Guadalcanar, Solomon Islands. [...] Five specimens were obtained by my friend Dr. John Brazier, on the trunks of trees, during the visit of H.M.S. "Curacoa" to Marau Sound. [Solomon Islands]

Notes
F. R. Woodward label (1979-1980) says "specimen marked T selected as lectotype", but the designation was not published. Delsaerdt (2016) could not determine which syntype was figured.
