Collecting details:
Marrat, 1877 states "A curious sharply angled shell of a distinct type but in bad condition". Tomlin, 1940 implies that this is a holotype by way on monotypy as refers to 'monotype' in his list. McMillan, 1984 refers to this specimen as the holotype.
