Notes
Tomlin, 1940 states: '(one)' and 'the monotype'. Note by Ian Wallace, 17.9.2004: It is not clear how many specimens were involved in writing the description. This was one of the group of species that Marrat said were mainly represented by single specimens (page 77), but frustratingly he says some were represented by more specimens, but it is not clear which ones. Irrespective, McMillan, 1985 claims this is a holotype but lectotype is safer. Cernohorsky, 1984 refers to this specimen as the holotype, he also measures and figures the specimen, this is taken to be a lectotype designation by inference (ICZN 74.6).
