Collecting details:
It is not clear how many specimens were involved in the description. Note by Ian Wallace, 17.9.2004: This was one of the group of species that Marrat said were mainly represented by single specimens (p. 77), but frustratingly some were represented by more specimens, but it is not clear which ones. Irrespective, McMillan, 1985 claims this is a holotype but lectotype is safer. McMillan's citation counts as a lectotype designation by inference (ICZN Article 74.6). N.B. Spelt quinqueplicata on p. 89.
