Specimen matches figs. 428 in Thesaurus Conchyliorum. Label in Marrat's writing 'O. nota 192 Marrat Vancouver Island'. Label in Tomlin's writing 'Type of nota M.'. Described in 1868 with no locality and no illustration we cannot be certain that this specimen is the one illustrated, especially as the description in Thesaurus Conchyliorum in 1871 talks of specimens.
