Notes
Wood & Gallichan, 2008: Type material: Syntypes:- ‘Types’ RBINS.10591 2 spec. (e) Type locality: Algerien bei Biban in prov. Constantine Remarks: Westerlund (1890b: 26) wrote ‘H. bibanensis Anc. n. sp.’ but put no acknowledgement after the description. See note 4 (p. 96) on authorship. Westerlund (1890d: 61) placed the species under the subgenus Helicopsis in his catalogue. Type evidence: RBINS hold a lot with Dautzenberg & Geret type labels stating it is ex Ancey; regarding the locality they wrote ‘sans localité et prob. manuscript.’ This lot was located after the Wood & Gallichan publication was published.
