Specimen doesn't match measurements in paper - it is too small. Label in Wallace's(?) handwriting 'Re Trochomorpha lancasteri Gude 1919 PMS 13: 118-119. Gude says "type in my collection" A/C to Sherborn (Where is the ---Collection? 1940 some Gude shells in BM. In Lancaster coll ms catalogue it is stated "under no.1170 "Trochomorpha lancasteri Gude Min Valley, Szechuan ex coll. L.J.L. [Lady Lyons] Duplicates given by me in 1918 to the British Museum, South Kensington". But the type is in Gude collection not lady Lyons. Where is the Gude Collection?
