Mentioned in a 1966 letter by T. Pain to the curator, K. Davies, about a list of putative type material made by F. R. Woodward, 1966. Not located by F. R. Woodward, 1964; T. Pain, 1966; or in 2022-2023. Unlikely to be a type since Melvill (1888) gives the locality as Algoa Bay and the collector as Mr. Furse. [BR]
